⚡ Project Spotlight: 63 kV Gakpe–Ouidah Transmission Line

From model to site, Tawara Group is delivering the complete line and tower design for a new 14-kilometre, 63 kV transmission line connecting Gakpe and Ouidah in Benin.

Designed for the Société Béninoise d’Énergie Électrique (SBEE), the project includes lattice steel tower design, PLS-CADD modelling, structural analysis and foundation design in accordance with CEB technical standards.

The towers are now erected along the alignment, with our engineers conducting construction-supervision visits across the full route.

Project Spotlight — 500 kV Line Clearance Remediation

Client: BC Hydro, British Columbia, Canada
Status: Completed, 2017–2019

Clearance violations on a 500 kV lattice-tower transmission line have no easy fix.

The line is a backbone asset, extended outages are unacceptable, and any correction must be engineered against the full structural reality of towers that have stood for decades.

TAWARA Group assessed each affected span and built PLS-Tower models of the structures involved, so every remediation option, raising existing structures, re-tensioning conductors, rested on detailed structural analysis rather than assumption.

The deliverable was a full construction package, with each viable option checked against safety and regulatory requirements.

🚧 PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | Restoring Road Infrastructure in Chad 🇹🇩

Reliable roads are essential to safe transportation, operational efficiency, and economic connectivity.

In December 2025, TAWARA SARL successfully supervised cold-asphalt pothole repairs along the 12-kilometre Madjo–Doba national road in Logone Oriental, Chad, for client TPC.

Using cold-asphalt technology suited to remote locations, the project restored the road's riding surface, addressed pavement deterioration, and maintained a vital access corridor serving the OFDA premises.
