One of the greatest privileges of being Executive Director of EMDA is visiting our member companies and seeing firsthand the people, passion, and innovation behind their success.
Recently, I had the opportunity to tour Adair Sales & Marketing as they celebrate an incredible milestone, 20 years in business! As a family-owned and operated company, Adair has built an outstanding reputation throughout the agricultural equipment industry by staying true to their values while continually adapting to meet the changing needs of the market.
During my visit, the Adair team welcomed me with incredible hospitality as they showed me their office, warehouse, and equipment yard. It was inspiring to see the operations behind a company that has spent two decades building strong relationships with manufacturers and dealers across North America.
One of my favorite parts of the visit was hearing George Adair share the company's story. Their very first product lines were Kongskilde and Loftness, and from that foundation, they have continued to grow by embracing change rather than standing still.
George shared a piece of advice that perfectly captures Adair's approach to business:
"You can't do the same thing over and over. You have to watch the trends and continue to grow."
That mindset has been a driving force behind Adair's success over the past 20 years. Their willingness to evolve, identify new opportunities, and invest in lasting partnerships has positioned them as a respected leader in the agricultural equipment industry.
