On IFI World Interiors Day, we’re recognizing designers who shape how spaces are experienced, not just how they look.

Calgary-based designer Alykhan Velji Designs approaches interiors with a strong sense of balance, layering texture, light, and layout to create spaces that feel considered but still livable. In his own home renovation, that thinking carried through every detail, including the selection of JELD-WEN windows and doors. Clean lined black frames were used to bring in natural light, connect interior and exterior spaces, and support the overall flow of the home.
