After more than 22 years, the time has come for our family to begin a new chapter.
In November 2003, we became the owners of Jade True Value, now known as Home Hardware Tumbler Ridge. What started as a business opportunity quickly became so much more.

Tumbler Ridge became our home—the place where we raised our two boys, built lifelong friendships, and became part of an incredible community.
Owning this store has never just been about selling hardware. It has been about helping our neighbours, building relationships, and earning your trust. Whether you came in for renovation advice, paint or simply stopped by for a chat.

Today, we are pleased to share that on September 1st Home Hardware Tumbler Ridge will have new owners, Mark and Amanda.
From their very first visit, they recognized what we have always known—that Tumbler Ridge is a very special place. We are confident they will bring enthusiasm, integrity, and a genuine commitment to both the business and the community.
Over the coming weeks, we'll be working closely with Mark and Amanda to assist with the transition. As with any new venture, there will be a learning curve, and we know they'll appreciate the same kindness, patience, and support that this community showed us when we first arrived more than 22 years ago.
To our staff, customers, suppliers, friends, and everyone who has supported us over the years—thank you. Thank you for your loyalty, your trust, and the many friendships we have made along the way. This store has been a big part of our lives, and we are grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this community for more than 22 years.
While our roles at Home Hardware Tumbler Ridge are changing, Tumbler Ridge will continue to be our home. We look forward to watching Mark and Amanda build their own relationships with this community, just as we have had the opportunity to do.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for welcoming us, supporting us, and allowing us to be part of your lives.

The kindness and compassion shown by friends, neighbours, and people from communities across Canada has meant so much to our team and to our community during this incredibly difficult time.

Your support reminds us how strong and caring communities can be when we stand together. Thank you for keeping Tumbler Ridge in your thoughts.
