We would like to again remind our visitors that Mid-Island Marine is an active worksite and we have a complete OHS program and procedures regarding safety in our workplace.

If entering onto the premises we require EVERYONE to abide by our safety program and procedures and ensure PPE is worn and that you are aware of your surroundings. If you are operating a vehicle on site, please ensure that you proceed to the designated parking area and refrain from driving around the lot. We can appreciate the interest in the hard work our employees are putting in and the beautiful vessels our clients have BUT we need to think about the safety of all employees, clients and visitors as well. We have alot of equipment and heavy machinery onsite that are maneuvering and operating and we do not want to have an incident where someone gets injured.🦺

Please note;

If you are planning to store your vessel on dock for an extended period of time during the winter months please ensure your furnace is working properly prior to arriving. We do not have a certified technician on site to deal with furnace issues.

As our season gears up for an extra busy one here at Mid Island Marine, we would like to send out a couple of extra friendly reminders to our visitors and customers as per our policies and procedures:

1. Please remember that our Marine Center is a worksite and we pride ourselves on keeping our employees and everyone on site safe. We do have a OHS program and we require all visitors in our yard to wear High visibility gear and PPE and ask vistors to please proceed to the office with any requests and they will contact the correct employee for what you need.

2. As we get busier our travel lift and equipment will be operated more frequently, therefore please be cautious as you enter the marine center not to interfere with path of travel. Having said that please note when entering we also kindly ask that you please refrain from operanting your personal vehicle throughout the Marine Center in the areas other than the main parking (if visiting or looking for a product or service).

3. Lastly, We would also like to remind everyone that our employees are working as hard as they can to complete the job tasks they are assigned. If you’re looking for a product or service, please be respectful and give them the time they need to process the request! We have a great bunch of employees here at Mid Island Marine and they deserve the respect and privacy especially on their breaks and lunches.

We have exciting news to share here at Mid-Island Marine! Our very own, Mr. Pete Winsor, has been nominated to be inducted into the Atlantic Canada Marine Industries Hall of Fame builder category. 🙌🏻⛴️

If you know Pete you know he would never brag about this AMAZING accomplishment, however, we have no problem putting it out there for him and showing off how proud we are😁

Pete, you have worked so hard to build the incredible legacy here at Mid-Island Marine and this is much deserved.

HUGE shoutout to all the staff that has made the Marine Center what it is today and thank you for your hard work, dedication and support.

Let’s all take a moment to show our congratulations and support to Pete for this amazing opportunity!!

HUGE THANK YOU going out to everyone who registered and attended the car show today!

It was a last minute plan but wow were we ever impressed. Unfortunately a lot of people said they didn’t get the message about it so hopefully next year we’ll can promote more and have a little more time to plan some more activites as well! Overal, what an amazing day.👌🏻

We were pleased to raise $1,653.00 and have decided to donate it to help support Kippens Ridge Day 2025.

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this happen, we couldn’t do it without you. 💗
