With all this snow, it's important to remember to clear snow around any intake and exhaust vents for your furnace, boiler dryer or vented hot water tanks. Blowing snow can pile up and block the vents, causing equipment to shut-off or worse, cause a buildup of dangerous carbon monoxide (CO) gas in your home.
