Congratulations!….and a huge thank you to Stuart Vandervaart, Associate Dealer of Canadian Tire in Carleton Place, Ontario for his trust in me. Recently, it was time to upgrade his existing aligner and Stuart made the decision to go with one of our newest alignment options, the HawkeyeX. While this aligner comes with all the technologies Hunter customers are used to, and allows them to continue to align vehicles faster and more accurately than any other alignment technology on the market today, it also allows them to complete all the necessary electronic and dynamic resets that are needed on many applications on the road today. This model also allows them to be forward thinking and prepared to add on static resets down the road when the time is right and their shop configuration allows it. ANNOUNCEMENT!….Welcome to the Hunter family!….Congratulations, and a huge thank you to Fern Turpin, Owner of Turpin KIA in Carleton Place, Ontario for his trust in me. Fern, recently decided it was time to upgrade the tire area of his dealership, more specifically the tire balancer due to inaccurate readings with his previous competitive balancer on site, and with the busy spring tire season just around the corner there was no better time. Fern, purchased the Hunter Smart Weight Elite balancer. This purchase will give him and his techs piece of mind knowing they are giving their customers an accurate balance, while also saving on shop supplies using the Hunter patented Smart Weight technology system. Congratulations!….and a huge thank you to Brandon Boyer, Director of Fixed Operations Brett Nolan, their Service Manager Greg Allin, and the entire Boyer Automotive Group of Belleville Volkswagen for their trust in me. Recently they upgraded the tire area of their dealership with the purchase of the fully proprietary VAG, Road Force Elite diagnostic balancer as well as the new Maverick Pro tire changer. This purchase allows them to give their techs back the controls on the tire changer while also maximizing tire and rim protection, but also balance that tire, using smart weight technology to save on shop consumables, and also diagnose the rim and tire imperfections to recommend match mount options for a perfect balance everytime. Simply put the process is more advanced, safe and efficient then ever before. To Brandon, Brett and the Boyer team, I will not let you down and I want to thank you for your continued support. Congratulations!....and a huge thank you to Jeff Hall of Midas Eastern Ontario. Jeff and his team continue to grow at warp speed adding Guelph and Waterloo to their portfolio earlier this year, brining them to 7 Midas locations sprinkled acrossed Ontario, with more to come. While Jeff and his team continue to grow, he is not willing to sacrifice the quality of equipment he provides his customers and their experiences during their visits, or his technicians and their ability to get the job done right. Jeff recently added on one of Hunter’s newest tire changers to his already impressive list of Hunter equipment at all his locations, this time it was the Maverick tire changer at his flagship store on Gardiners Rd in Kingston. This semi autonomous tire changer is not only designed and built right in the U.S., but gives the tire technician just the right amount of intervention, while keeping rim and tire protection the priority. Jeff, I will not let you down and I want to thank you for your continued support. If you Google the top reasons automotive technicians leave their place of work, these two reasons will ALWAYS be near the top of any search results you will find. Admittedly we can’t help with all the reasons you will find listed, but we can most certainly take care of these two. Today we had a working lunch that included pizzas, wings, laughs and a complete refresher of this loyal Hunter customers alignment bay. You may ask “why Hunter?” or “what is the Hunter difference?”….this IS the exact definition of the Hunter difference. There was no PO’s being cut today, no sales to be had, but that didn’t matter as we were too busy supporting our customers to do the best job they can for their customers. Thank you to Matt White, Gord Wood and all the great techs at Riverside GM for a great session.

Congratulations!…and a huge thank you to Owner Ted Macmillan and his Service Manager Gord Wood of Riverside GM in Brockville Ontario for their trust in me. While they have had the Hunter Hawkeye Elite aligner for sometime now, they felt it was time to invest in their alignment rack to complete their alignment bay. That investment led them to the 18,000 Lb, 4 post alignment rack which allows them to meet virtually any size application that comes in their shop. This purchase compliments their already impressive and fully equipped Hunter shop. To the Riverside GM team, I will not let you down and I want to thank you for your continued support. I also would like to thank some of the best Hunter service technicians in the business, Matt White, Stephane Desjardins, Mike Peron, and Edward Hookumchand, thank you for all your help and support gentlemen, it is very much appreciated!

Hunter is sometimes thought of as out of reach by some, and yes there is a cost for the best after sales service team, the most accurate and quickest equipment on the market today, but we also have fantastic entry level equipment, that in some cases may in fact be what’s in our customers best interests. Simply put we are here to do what is in your best interests and the best interests of your business. In this case the best solution for Gary and his business through conversations was the Pronto alignment system, and I was his first call. Congratulations!….and a huge thank you to the Father and son team of Chris and Gerry Rekman, proud owners of Rekman’s Automotive in Kemptville Ontario for their trust in me. Gerry has been operating this successful shop for years now, but recently his son Chris, who was a successful technician himself in the Ottawa market, joined his Father at the family shop. Chris felt there was a few areas of the shop that needed updating and the balancer was one of those key areas for him. They recently invested in the purchase of the Smart Weight Elite balancer, complete with Hammerhead and wheel lift to go along with their already impressive list of Hunter equipment on site. With this investment they can meet their customers needs in the most accurate and efficient way possible, while using the Hammerhead and Smart Weight technology to save on shop supplies. ANNOUNCEMENT!….Welcome to the Hunter family!….Congratulations and a huge thank you to Ryan Drysdale and Max McNamee, owners of Auto MD in Perth Ontario, for their trust in me. While they’ve only been in business for just under a year now, they recently upgraded the alignment bay of their location, and simply put now have the most advanced alignment bay on the market today. They recently purchased the Hawkeye Elite aligner, and fully integrated 18,000 Lb, harsh duty, 4-post alignment lift, complete with alignment lights. With this investment, they have the latest technology to not only diagnose your vehicle, but align it quicker and more efficiently than ever before, and also reset important safety features such as steering angle sensors which have now become mandated on many vehicles when an alignment is completed. With the 4-post lift purchase they have also now saved themesleves and their customers valuable time as this fully integrated lift works seemlessly with the aligner to complete many functions, including locking and unlocking the turn plates and slip plates when needed. There is no longer the need to be pushing and pulling pins on the turnates and slip plates during the alignment process.
