calypso_lx’s mint ’92 LX is back together! 👌

He’s owned this car since brand new, and with only 62,000 km on it, it’s still incredibly clean.

We pulled the engine, flycut the pistons for the TFS heads, painted the block, and installed a new cam, timing chain, high-volume oil pump and HD oil pump shaft. We also set it up with a PSP custom fuel system!

To finish it off, we swapped the mufflers over to a set of SpinTechs to give it the sound it deserves.

Cool piece of history on this one too — under the hood, it’s still wearing an old J&P Performance sticker from the early days.

Fresh out of the engine room! 🔥

Brand new PSP-built 445ci Small Block Ford for our customer John, aka Pounder! 💪🏼

John goes way back with us to the J&P Performance days nearly 35+ years ago, so it’s pretty cool to have him back for another build after all these years!

This all-motor 445ci will be going into his 1985 Mustang GT, bringing some serious naturally aspirated power to the streets.

Can’t wait to see this one all together!
