A proud and historic moment for the entire Yarlmetal family! Yarlians!
We are honoured to celebrate our CEO, Mr. Sornalingam, Vyramuthu Sornalingam ,who received the
2026 OGMA Lifetime Achievement Award
for his leadership and more than 50 years of contribution to the glass and glazing industry.

His remarkable journey began in Sri Lanka, continued through Nigeria, and eventually brought him to Canada. Starting Yarlmetal Fabrications Inc only two people, his vision and determination helped grow the company to approximately 70 employees, operating from a facility of more than 80,000 square feet.
The standing ovation from OGMA members and industry colleagues made this recognition especially memorable.
After more than 36 years of Yarl Metal, this is a proud milestone for our entire team. As Yarlians, we are honoured to be part of the company he built and the journey he continues to lead.
Congratulations, Mr. Sornalingam, on this well-deserved achievement!
