A Chain Sizer has a wire mat where the small product falls through the chain and the larger product will run to the end of the chain. Works for round product, can have extra options to cover garlic or odd shaped products. Will measure by two dimensions so that it gives a more accurate size. You can add as many sizes as you want but the number of sizes that you get is the number of chains that you have plus the larger product falling over the end. We manufacture the chain sizers to have an extremely low drop to reduce bruising as much as possible. Chain lengths come in 4' sections, available in steel and stainless steel at 36" and 48".

The Standard Washer/Dryer unit is a compact economic line for round fruits and vegetables but is also suitable for cucumbers, long potatoes, Chinese radish, sweet potatoes and squash with added overhead brushes. This unit with the top brushes is a unique unit that we designed to better wash long and irregular products. It also allows varying aggressiveness of brushing for delicate products such as sweet potatoes so as not to damage the skin by raising or lowering the top brushes as well as the product feed rate. The last 6 rows of the machine are sponges that dry the product on the way out. This will polish and clean the product with a short floor area (approximate 2 meters (6 foot) long). Expected capacity depending on soil condition is 1-2 tonne per hour.
