Well, here's the big news.
I've found my new Home at Home Hardware.
I've been recruited to head up a new division called Home Hardware Commercial Maintenance.
We're busy, getting set up with my old suppliers and contacting old customers to make them aware.
There is a lot of work to be done...setting up SKU numbers and getting stock.
But, once we're all set up, we'll be carrying all the products you came to know and trust from I.C.S.S. with the same great service.
So, be patient and don't change too many of your dispensers.
You'll soon be able to get your products from Home Hardware Commercial Maintenance.
If, I haven't reached out yet, I'll be contacting your company soon.
Hopefully, I can continue serving you and your business in the near future :)

Help me to welcome Mark Chown to the HOME team.
Mark has come to us with a ton of knowledge in the commercial maintenance industry and soon you will see him out delivering all the brands you know and trust in this soon to be yellow van.

Dear Clients & Valued customers.

I have been part of Industrial Commercial Sanitation Supplies and Sussex Janitorial Services for 30yrs.
Sussex Janitorial has been part of this community, even before I came along & has had many cleaning contracts in the town.
I’ve put everything into these companies. I’ve been here thru sick days and shortly after getting out of the hospital from surgeries, when I should have been home recovering.
I met my wife here and built our life around these companies.
But, after all these years, I’ve realized I’m not getting any younger and finances aren’t getting any better.
This company has been taking a toll on our personal lives, mentally, physically and financially as well...and it’s time to make a change.
After trying to think of different ways & plans, I could try and make this company profitable and continue to operate for our employees sake...
About a month ago, we came to the heart breaking and difficult decision to begin ceasing operations & preparing for closure as of March 1st, 2026.
This is a decision, I thought long and hard about, as it not only affected myself...but the 18 other staff, we have had employed.
Luckily, most of the staff have been placed with new companies or have found work elsewhere.
I’ve enjoyed all the people I’ve met and talked to over the years and it saddens me, to have to close our businesses we worked so hard at running over the years.
It’s time to say good bye to this chapter of our lives, pick-up the pieces and move on and continue a new life without I.C.S.S. & Sussex Janitorial being part of it.
I would like to thank everyone for all your support over the years.
I’m truly sorry, for any inconvenience this will cause.
I’d like to give a Very Sincere Thank You!! to;
Lisa Schafer, Brad Clark, Abby Dunham, & Portia for helping these last couple days getting things cleaned up.
I’m hopeful, my new endeavor will allow me to cross paths with some of our customers again in the future and my new job will feel like a new Home. Stay Tuned...

Just a heads up.
We were going to open Friday, but decided we're going to take an extra day off, for the Holidays and clean-up this snow.
We'll be back open our regular hours January 6th.

We extended our hours over the holidays and will be open Monday's for those last minute Holiday Emergency supply orders and perhaps even the odd gift idea :)
Things are always quiet around the shop the week of Christmas, so please check out our hours for over the Holidays.

We'll still be out & about working at other jobs, while other offices are closed.
We'll also be in and out checking messages.
But, with a lot of our suppliers closed or not shipping that week...make sure to check your stock and have your orders in early.

Note; We'll be here in the shop this Friday, but due to our parking lot being shut down to accommodate parking for the Flea Market... it may be a bit difficult for our customers (and our delivery van) to get in and out.
So, please place your orders early to make sure you're stocked up for the weekend.

Monday - Closed
Tuesday - 8:30am til 4:30pm.
Wednesday - 8:30am til 4:30pm.
Thursday - 8:30am til 4:30pm.
Friday - 8:30am til 4:30pm.
Saturday - Closed
Sunday - Closed

Make sure to place your orders accordingly.
If you have an emergency on a day we’re closed, reach out and We’ll still try to get you taken care of.
