55 years in Surrey, BC. A lot of things have changed in our neighbourhood since 1970 but one thing you can count on is honest, hard working service from the family at B&B Bearing and Electric Motor Ltd. Founded in 1970 by Harri Block, the second generation is 25 years in with 'new' owners Dave & Mark continuing the 'service first' mentality that has helped us continue serving the community and supporting local societies for over five decades.

Some panic's are more important than others :)
This massive pump repair is on panic mode and we are working around the clock to get her back into service.

Bring on the summer heat, but wait until Friday please ;)

Just as the heat returns, one of Vancouver’s outdoor pools has closed. 💦

The Park Board announced Tuesday that New Brighton Pool is shut “until further notice” due to an unexpected pump failure.

There’s no word yet on when, or if, it will reopen before Labour Day, the usual end of the season. With temps set to climb near 30°C this weekend, swimmers will have to head to Kitsilano, Second Beach, Hillcrest, or Maple Grove instead.
