🚗✨ Team Spotlight Series — Meet the People Behind Jonker Honda ✨🚗
This week, we're introducing Daren Rodillas, our Fleet and Lease Manager.
Although Daren joined Jonker Honda in February 2026, he brings more than 20 years of automotive experience to the team, including over seven years with another Honda dealership in the Lower Mainland.
What Daren enjoys most about his role is that no two days are ever the same. Whether he's helping lease customers find the right vehicle, building relationships with fleet partners, or supporting the sales team, he enjoys meeting new people and finding solutions that fit their needs.
Outside of work, Daren is a proud father to a soon-to-be kindergartener, an avid golfer, and a dedicated sports fan. If he's not at the dealership, you'll likely find him on the golf course, at the driving range, or cheering on the San Francisco 49ers.
One of Daren's proudest achievements is earning Honda Council of Sales recognition five times (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, & 2025), a distinction awarded to top-performing Honda sales professionals in Western Canada.
His advice for anyone starting in the business? Keep an open mind and never judge a book by its cover. Every customer has a unique story, and building genuine relationships is what matters most.
When asked which Honda best represents him, Daren chose the Civic — dependable, reliable, and with just the right amount of sportiness.
Since joining Jonker Honda, Daren says the welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere has stood out immediately. Even after only a few months, he already feels like part of the team.
