Winter is coming, boys! Now’s the time to get those marine diesel furnaces serviced before the winter fisheries get rolling or before spring fishing season kicks off.

At Oceans Edge Marine Services, we service most makes and models of marine diesel furnaces.

🔧 Most manufacturers recommend a service every 2,500 hours, which includes:

-New burn mat
-Glow plug
-Gaskets
-Temperature sensors

💰 $695–$895 + tax — parts and labour included.

We would like to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving! Take some time to enjoy the long weekend with your friends and family, and give thanks to the people in your lives who make a difference.

We’d like to take a moment to thank our spouses for the support and understanding they’ve given us throughout our first year in business. We couldn’t do it without you!

We’d also like to welcome and thank our two new employees for jumping on board, putting in the work, and helping keep things moving. Here’s to great things ahead!

A customer contacted us about tidying up some cables on their new boat. Rushed/last minute jobs can have detrimental effects, a power cable on a marine computer was uncomfortably close to a dead short.

To solve this we trimmed the jacket back and soldered the cable so there was no loose strands and the connector could get a nice bite on the wire.

Some before and after pictures! Only takes a few clips, some zip ties and a little time.

No new cables were used in the process.

🔧 Out with the old, in with the new! 🔋

This customer was having issues with low voltage and batteries not charging properly. After checking things over, we found a couple of tired batteries, dirty terminals, and corroded battery cables.

We got it cleaned up and replaced:
✅ 2 new batteries
✅ New battery cable ends
✅ Cleaned up the connections
✅ Battery terminal protector applied to help keep corrosion away

All fixed up and ready to get back on the water! ⚓️🌊
