After a full review of all services and site conditions, everything was confirmed to meet the required standards.

GRIT Engineering was part of the Skilled Trades Pathways Experience hosted by the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board this week at the Stratford Rotary Complex.

GRIT was excited to have a booth where we could share more about what we do and highlight engineering as a career path, especially for young women exploring opportunities in trades and other traditionally male-dominated fields.

Our team members, Ann and Meighan, Civil Project Managers and licensed engineers, had the chance to connect with students, share their career journeys, and talk about what led them to where they are today. Those conversations matter. Representation matters.

At GRIT, we believe mentorship and outreach are key to helping the next generation make confident, informed decisions about their education and careers. It’s about opening doors, sharing real experiences, and showing that there’s a place for everyone in this industry.

Hosted by Memorable Connections, this tournament supports their incredible work providing recreation-based dementia care programs right here in Stratford. These programs create meaningful connections, support individuals living with dementia, and offer much needed relief for caregivers.
It’s more than just a tournament. It’s a community coming together to make a real impact.

We’re pleased to host the ACEC‑Ontario Women’s Network Breakfast in Stratford!
Join us on Monday, May 26, 2026, from 8:00–10:00 a.m. at The Bruce Hotel for a relaxed, in‑person networking breakfast bringing together women in consulting engineering.
This casual meetup is part of ACEC‑Ontario’s Women’s Network series and provides an opportunity to connect, share experiences, and strengthen professional networks—no formal agenda, just great conversation and community.
