We’re excited to introduce Priyansi Patel, who recently joined our team as a Technologist, Designer, and Project Administrator.

Priyansi is a BCIN-certified Designer and a graduate of Loyalist College’s Architectural Technologist program with over five years of experience in architecture and design. She’s worked with Builders and Contractors across Ontario on several award-winning projects and brings strong technical skills and a collaborative mindset to the team.

Our team completed a site visit ahead of the holidays, and it was encouraging to see the steady progress firsthand. With interior work advancing well, the project remains on track for completion in early Q1. 👏🏻

Artas Engineering & Design Inc. is proud to be serving as the prime consultant for the additions to the Van Allen Insurance Inc. building in Listowel.

The project includes two new additions — a main office expansion and a rear storage addition — totalling approximately 350 square metres.

The fully accessible office addition features a welcoming timber frame entrance, reception area, five private offices, and a boardroom designed to accommodate up to 16 people. Vaulted ceilings and natural light create an open, inviting atmosphere complemented by decorative lighting, elegant finishes, and a feature fireplace that adds warmth and character to the space.

The rear addition provides flexible storage capacity and the potential for future office expansion. Exterior finishes include decorative masonry, precast sills, metal siding, and a metal roof, blending functionality with aesthetic appeal.

With occupancy just around the corner, we’re excited to see this project come to life and serve the needs of the Van Allen Insurance team and their clients.

Exciting progress at the Nawash Community Arena for the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation in Neyaashiinigmiing! 🏒

The foundations are poured, the slab is in place, and the building structure is going up fast! This 2,900 sq.m community arena will feature:

🏟️ Seating for 250 people
👥 A community meeting room and office space
🚪 Six change rooms
🥤 A concession and seating area
♿ Fully accessible washrooms, entrances, and an interior ramp

We’re honoured to be part of this meaningful project as Prime Consultant, working alongside Bruce Power, Makwa Dewar, Makwa Development, and BLT Construction Services.

When completed in 2026, the arena will bring people together for sports, community events, and year-round programming — a true gathering place for the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation.
