Remote field work often starts with one challenge — getting there.

Last week, we sent two Swamp Rider units to Northern Alberta to support a customer working on oil & gas infrastructure projects in remote locations.

Muskeg, wetlands, creek crossings and soft ground can make reaching these sites a challenge before the actual work even begins.

That's where having the right access equipment makes a difference — getting crews and equipment to the site while minimizing the impact of difficult terrain.

Great to see another two Swamp Riders heading north and being put to work in real field conditions.

When a customer comes back for more equipment, that says a lot.

Last week, two more Swamp Rider units left our yard for a major utility company in Western Canada, bringing their fleet to four units.
The Swamp Riders will be used to help their teams safely access hard-to-reach locations where mud, soft ground, water, and difficult terrain can make getting to the job a challenge.
It's great to see a customer expanding their fleet after putting the units to work in real field conditions.

Yeti Rentals will be showcasing the Swamp Rider at the Oil Sands Expo in Fort McMurray on September 16–17, 2026.

Over the past season, our Swamp Rider units have been working across the Fort McMurray area, supporting oil & gas field operations and receiving extremely positive feedback from customers.

Not every job site has a road leading to it.

It's great to see another Swamp Rider supporting Independent Cathodic Protection Services Inc. (ICPS) with corrosion inspection work, helping the team safely reach remote locations across challenging terrain.

Corrosion inspections often require access to areas where conventional vehicles simply aren't practical. Having the right equipment helps crews transport personnel and the tools they need to get the job done safely and efficiently.

After all the rain Alberta has seen recently, this is what a day in the field can look like from the driver's seat of a Swamp Rider.

From behind the wheel, it's a constant mix of mud, standing water, soft ground, and narrow bush trails. These are the conditions Swamp Rider is designed for, allowing operators to safely transport personnel, tools, and equipment to remote job sites.
