Resilience isn't what you carry alone. It's knowing that you don't have to.

Our own Jason Stock reminded us of that during last week's annual strategic planning.

It was that time of the year when the whole team got together to come up with a strategy for the next 12 months. But somewhere between the breakout sessions, the hackathon and the Jeopardy-style trivia rounds, it stopped being about the plan and became about the people who make it possible.

To everyone who was there: thank you.

Whatever next year asks of us, nobody is carrying it alone. 💚

It's a good thing athleticism is not a predictor of building great tech companies.😅

Huge thanks to for the invite to their summer kickball tournament, and for looping in the team at SiftMed as well.

We can't say we stuck to (or fully understood) the rules, but we made some new friends and captured a few cool drone shots of the rare sunny day in St. John's. ☀️

We also followed it up with pints at Bannerman Brewing Co. like any dignified Newfoundland company. 🍻

Horizon Health Network/Réseau de santé Horizon, New Brunswick's largest health authority, has awarded PolyUnity a multi-year contract for on-demand medical device manufacturing. 🎉

That means patient-specific products are now within reach of clinicians serving 86% of the province, including 12 hospitals, 100+ community health centres and clinics, roughly 750,000 residents.

Keyin College did something most training providers won't: they asked what we needed before they built the course. 🤝

When a company starts using AI, it can split the room.

Two or three people get deep into it. Everyone else nods along and hopes it doesn't come up. 🙂‍↕️

This course was different because the entire PolyUnity team went through the micro-credential together as a dedicated cohort (in our own office). Everyone came out with tools tailored to their own role, with everybody on the same footing.

Thanks to our regulatory consultants at PASB Medtech Solutions for joining us in office and adding a critical lens to the curriculum. 🔎

And a special shoutout to our instructor Andrew Mercer, whose passion and energy are a big part of why 40 hours didn't feel like 40 hours! 👏

This meant better care at bedside, real-time vitals, and secure messaging at the point of care.

Throwback Thursday: Last year we sat down with leaders at Nova Scotia Health who decided innovation wasn't a someday problem. 🎙️

On this Chats on Change episode, PolyUnity President, Mark Gillingham, and CEO, Jacqueline Lee, joined Karen Oldfield and Margaret Palmeter for a conversation about a simple idea: what if a hospital could make what it needs, when it needs it? 💡

It sounds like a chat about 3D printing, but it's really about people who refuse to wait for someday. A year on and it's still as relevant as the day it was recorded.
