David G. Burt, P. Art Singleton, P. Bert Ings, C.E.T. formerly David Burt & Associates Ltd. is a locally owned and operated Consulting Engineering firm established in 1999 to provide structural and civil engineering services. The firm consists of three full time professional engineers, one part time professional engineer, and two engineers in training, four full time engineering technicians and one part time engineering technician. The firm has considerable experience in all types of structural analysis and design including steel, concrete, wood and masonry. The structures designed range from small wood framed buildings to multi-story buildings including apartment buildings, government buildings, hospitals, sports complexes, warehouses, and industrial buildings. The scope of work on these structures has included preliminary design, detailed design, working drawings, cost analysis and estimating, specifications and contract administration. The technical staff of DBA Consulting Engineers Ltd. has experience in small municipal and civil engineering projects including site services design for building projects, retaining walls, parking lots, street and sidewalk construction as well as marine projects. utilizes a variety of Structural Analysis and Design software in combination with purpose built in-house computer aided design and drafting facilities for all projects. David Burt has 44 years professional experience in construction, government and consulting with 36 years experience in private consulting practice and was president of David Burt and Associates Ltd and Structural Consultants Ltd. for a combined 25 years. Art Singleton has 15 years experience as a consulting engineer and Bert Ings has 23 years as an engineering technician.
