A customer wanted a new, more unique gauge cluster for his 1969 Ford F-250, but matching the truck’s vintage look. We installed a new cluster that matched this pickup’s classic style and made sure all the gauges read properly. There’s a great satisfaction in helping our clients put the perfect touch on their vehicles, old or new!

Spare a little TLC. Conducting regular maintenance on your vehicle is both safe and smart. This starter shows you what happens when there’s no preventative maintenance. Dirt buildup caused uneven wear to the brushes and caused a short to the armature. A little attention can save you a lot of time and money in the long run!

More juice, please! A longtime customer, for whom we’ve done a variety of business-related work, recently came in with something different – his kids’ electric scooters. Having provided years of fun, the scooter batteries finally ran out of juice and needed replacing. Through our supplier network, we were able to quickly locate, procure and install new batteries for the scooters. As the shift to electric vehicles and mobility grows, Art’s Auto Electric is all charged up – pun intended – for the possibilities of the future!

More power. This Mopar isn’t just beautiful, but also packs a whopping 650hp! The customer was having charging issues, so we hooked him up with an original beefed-up alternator to keep up with the demands of the engine. After that, the customer decided on a few more upgrades. The final product isn’t just a sleek-looking vehicle, but a performance beast!

Windy ways. While some people are only now waking up to the power of wind-generated energy, St. Jacobs has been green for a long time! This windmill can be seen from almost the entire village. If you can see it, you’re almost at the St. Jacob’s Farmers Market!

Local talent. In St. Jacobs, just outside the are two beautiful murals from local artists Trisha Abe and August Illustrated. Both are based in nearby Kitchener and have been producing art locally for several years. Trish has created artwork for Shopify as well as the cities of Kitchener and Waterloo. August has produced a wide range of work and is also a tattoo artist. Thanks to both of them for bringing a little beauty into our lives!

Time to go to the market? As things slowly return to normal, it’s great to hear that the is getting back to business. It’s open every Thursday and Saturday and is a great introduction to the village of St. Jacobs. The play’s the thing…but unfortunately, the St. Jacobs Country Playhouse has been closed due to the pandemic. However, that should change soon! Given the constantly evolving situation, performances could be announced on short notice. Welcome to St Jacobs! Above one of our welcome signs, you can see a depiction of the West Montrose Covered Bridge. Also known as “Kissing Bridge,” it is one of the oldest covered bridges in the country. Built by John Bear in 1881, it is still in use today. With less than 200 covered bridges left in , it’s a privilege to have one in our own backyard.

Same but different. This is an example of a 24V 50MT starter used on heavy equipment like Caterpillar wheel loaders. This piece had issues and is expensive to fix, but we got our customer up and running right away with a different unit that fit and performed the same for a much lower cost.
