Today is a heavy reminder of why safety at Aden is not just paperwork or policy — it’s personal.

7 years ago today, my cousin was killed in an industrial accident while working on a frac sand silo during commissioning. They were doing last-minute repairs when the silo was filled with sand and collapsed, killing 3 workers instantly. His brother had been standing only feet away, grabbing a wrench for him moments before it happened.

Stories like this stay with you forever.

At Aden Industrial we talk a lot about production, deadlines, breakdowns, and getting the job done — but none of it matters more than making sure everyone goes home.

14 years in business.
0 lost time incidents.
0 modified work injuries.

That doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because our crews look out for each other, speak up, refuse shortcuts, and understand that every worker has a family waiting for them at home.

Today we remember the workers who never got that chance.

I’ll be honest — most of our best work has come from being ready before we’re needed.

Not ads. Not fancy marketing.
Just being the crew that answers the phone and shows up when things go sideways.

Lately, we’ve been talking with a few companies about getting everything set up ahead of time so when something breaks, there’s no scramble.

No paperwork delays. No “who do we call?”
Just… handled.

That’s how we’ve kept some of our clients for 7+ years (even still working with our very first one 14 years later).

We’ve got a bit of room coming up and are looking to take on a couple more companies in the Edmonton area.
