Sorrento Parts Ltd is a trusted local business providing quality automotive parts and accessories to individual customers and commercial clients in the Shuswap. We pride ourselves on excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere, operating Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (with Saturday closing at 4:30 pm).
Key Responsibilities
As a Delivery Driver and Shipping Associate, you will be a crucial link between our store and our valued customers. Your duties will include:
Safely and efficiently transporting automotive parts and accessories to customers on a designated route using a company vehicle.
Picking, packing, loading, and unloading orders, ensuring all items are secure and match the shipping documents.
Providing outstanding customer service, obtaining signatures, and processing payments when necessary.
Maintaining a clean, professional appearance and performing routine safety checks and basic maintenance on the delivery vehicle.
Assisting with general warehouse duties, stocking inventory, and keeping the parts area organized.
Adhering to all transportation laws and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
Must have a valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Physical fitness, with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding duties as needed.
Basic computer knowledge and a willingness to learn in-house programs.
A positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
