Summer isn’t over yet… but we can see September lurking around the corner. 👀🍂

The flowers are tired.
The mosquitoes have officially overstayed their welcome.
The kids are pretending they don’t know when school starts.
And somehow we’re already wondering where the heck summer went. 🤷‍♀️

But don’t pack it in just yet — there’s still plenty of summer left for deck projects, yard projects, camp projects, cottage fixes, BBQs and all those “I’ll get to it this summer” jobs you’ve been successfully avoiding since May. 😂

So enjoy these last few weeks, soak up the sunshine, and when one of those projects inevitably turns into three trips to the hardware store…

Well… inflation is getting a little out of hand. 😳💎

We found this little gem while putting the order away… apparently these 3/8” hex nuts are now worth $180,000 a box! For that price, we’re assuming they install themselves, make you breakfast, and come with lakefront property. 🤣

Don’t worry—we caught this one before anyone needed to refinance the house for a box of nuts.

At Mayer Hardware, we keep a close eye on our pricing because taking care of our customers is always our #1 priority. If something doesn’t look right, we’ll make it right.

(P.S. The REAL price is a tiny bit less than $180,000. 😉)

You never know what you’ll see at Mayer Hardware… 😂

One day we’re loading lumber.
The next we’re delivering flowers.
And then somehow… we’re placing a 2,000 lb marble fisherman in someone’s garden.

Just another day keeping things interesting! 😅

Safe to say our crew is always ready for whatever the day throws at us—even if it wasn’t on the morning checklist.

Now that’s one delivery we won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
