Tim has reached an exciting milestone: five years with Turkstra! 🎉

Over the past five years as Turkstra’s Director of Operations, Tim has consistently demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and a commitment to supporting both colleagues and customers. His positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to go the extra mile have made a meaningful impact on the team and contributed to the company's success. He has actively participated in many significant company initiatives, including the implementation of K8, Samsara logistics software, Central Dispatch and Distribution, DayForce, the Smithville EWP project, and more.

On a personal note, Tim loves spending quality time with his wife, Krista, and their two children, Spencer and Logan. We’ve also heard he’s a decent hockey player, but that has yet to be confirmed😊

Tim, we appreciate everything you’ve accomplished and look forward to many more years of contributions and achievements ahead.

It’s Fire Safety Week! Here are a few things you should check and correct before the week’s over to keep your home safe:
➡️ Smoke detectors – test and inspect your smoke detectors monthly, to ensure they are functional and have not expired.
➡️ Carbon Monoxide detectors – you should have a CO detector on every floor of your house and near each bedroom. Upgrade to combination smoke and CO detectors for efficient and reliable protections.
➡️ Dryer Maintenance - clean your dryer hose and exterior exhaust at least once a year to avoid dangerous lint build up. (We’ve got an easy tutorial on our page!)
➡️ Fireplace Maintenance – At least once a year have your fireplace and chimney professionally inspected and cleaned to avoid dangerous blockages and build up.
➡️ Electrical Safety – never stack adapters or use extension cords as permanent wiring, it can cause overheating and electrical fires.
