Sorry passenger... equipment gets the front seat on this one! 🛠️ 🧰

This custom Motrec was designed to replace a vehicle already hard at work in our customer’s operation. And when a setup works, why change it?

So we recreated the configuration that had already proven itself on the job, starting with replacing the second passenger seat with extra room for equipment.

And a few other details tailored to their operation:

✔️ Steel deck for added durability
✔️ Battery roll-out for easier access
✔️ Non-marking pneumatic tires to keep floors clean
✔️ Lockable storage box to limit access to stored equipment
✔️ Blue safety lights front and rear for added visibility

That extra space also comes in handy for longer items, like poles and other materials commonly carried around manufacturing facilities.

No wasted space. No unnecessary extras. Just a vehicle that makes sense for the way they work.

Because sometimes, equipment makes better company!

We're proud to announce that we've been awarded a new Sourcewell cooperative contract for our electric airside ground equipment!

This is our second Sourcewell contract, an important milestone that makes it even easier for public organizations to access our electric vehicles through a simplified procurement process.

The contract covers a wide range of airport equipment, including:

Some projects don't come with an instruction manual.

They start with a challenge.

In this case, operating in London's tunnel network meant there was no room to turn a vehicle around. So instead of asking the customer to adapt to the vehicle, we adapted the vehicle to the job.

These two MOTREC MC-480 were permanently coupled back-to-back to create a 100% custom solution, allowing operators to simply change direction and keep moving.

That's what custom engineering is all about.

The MOTREC MC-480 traded the job site for the camera. 🎬

It doesn't usually spend its day in front of a camera, but judging by these behind-the-scenes photos, we'd say it handled the assignment pretty well.

Then again, taking on different roles is what the MC-480 does best.

One day it's moving people. The next it's towing heavy loads.

Every MC-480 is built around its customer's operation, and this week, it just happened to be the star of the shoot.
