15 years ago today, I started Iron Pony Small Engines on the suggestion that we needed a dedicated small-engine service shop in the Shaunavon area. I ran it out of the quonset shop on the farm as a part-time thing for the first two years, until the opportunity presented itself to buy the building in town and move the shop there. A year later in 2012 we added the U-Haul rentals to our services.

Thank you to all of my customers for the last 15 years; and in particular thank you for your patience during the all-too-common delays in service.

The 2024 Briggs & Stratton Update Seminar was one of the most detailed and comprehensive seminars that they’ve done in several years! It was very informative, focusing heavily on engine failure analysis, which can be a tricky topic at the best of times! I passed the exam with a score of 93.33%, having narrowly missed ONE question.
