Our home port is Port Dalhousie Pier Marina in the historic old town of St. Catharines, Ontario—approximately 8 nautical miles west of the Niagara River and just 20–30 minutes from most Niagara-area accommodations. The marina is one of the premier ports on the south shore of Lake Ontario, offering access to some of the finest Salmon and Trout fishing in Canada. Located near excellent restaurants and beautiful free beaches, Port Dalhousie is the perfect place to relax, explore, and enjoy a great meal before or after your fishing adventure.

A great morning today on Lake Ontario with Lucas and his family, who joined us all the way from Brazil. We put some beautiful Chinook Salmon and Coho Salmon in the boat, and even had a giant Lake Trout come undone right beside us and lost a couple other screamers.
Early June is one of our favorite times of the season. Comfortable temperatures, generally calmer water, active fish, and plenty of opportunities for anglers of all experience levels.
If you’ve been thinking about getting out on the lake this summer, this is a great time to do it.

The lake kept us guessing after yesterday’s blow, but Lake Ontario delivered this morning.
We connected with King Salmon and Lake Trout, and lost a beautiful Steelhead that put on quite a show before coming unbuttoned. The fish were holding high in the water column, with most of our action coming in the top 40 feet. Today, spoons were the clear winner, with the Carbon 14 pattern leading the charge.
Great fishing, great company, and plenty of laughs along the way — exactly what a spring morning on Lake Ontario should be.
Summer dates are filling quickly, with only a handful of charter openings remaining for the season. If you’ve been thinking about getting out on the water, now is the time.

Val and crew made the trip all the way from Germany this morning to experience Lake Ontario salmon and trout fishing. The fish cooperated, the laughs came easy, and a number of beautiful salmon and trout found their way to the net.

We managed to wrap up just ahead of the stronger winds forecast over the next day, making the most of a great morning on the water.

One of the best parts of this job is hosting visitors from around the world and sharing the incredible fishery we have right here in Niagara.

Paolo and his group got treated to a beauty spring morning on Lake Ontario. The rods stayed active right through the trip with a steady mix of salmon and lake trout keeping things interesting from start to finish.
This stretch of the season is always one of the most enjoyable times to be on the water in Niagara. Aggressive fish, and lots of action can make for some really memorable mornings out there.

Another great evening on Lake Ontario with Ademir and friends over the Victoria Day long weekend. We worked through some beautiful evening conditions and stayed into fish throughout the trip, finishing well into double digits with a solid mix of King Salmon and Lake Trout.

There was a really nice setup on the water for us — light winds, slightly stained water, comfortable temperatures, and active fish right into the evening. A couple quality salmon mixed in with steady action made for an awesome night on the water. The evening bite has really started to turn on lately, and these sunset trips have been producing some really fun fishing and we will be running them from time to time.

Spring is such a unique time in Niagara. There are lots of fish around, the action can stay consistent, and every pass has the chance at a mature salmon.

Cristian and Dan experienced one of those Lake Ontario mornings that reminds you how quickly everything can come together out here.
Aggressive salmon and trout were crushing spoons right from the start. The action was so steady that we couldn’t even run our normal full spread of rods without constantly clearing fish. Non-stop bites, hard fights, and chaos in the best possible way.
Days like this are never guaranteed — and this level of action definitely isn’t the norm — but today everything lined up perfectly. Ideal water temperatures, the right wind, overcast skies, and a small piece of water holding active fish all morning long.
Our Salmon & Trout trips are now fully booked through May 15.

Steady action right through — we lost count bit best guess is over 30 fish hit the deck.�Chinook, Lake Trout, Coho, and even a Walleye mixed in.
More than just numbers, it was about staying on the right water and making the right adjustments as things developed.
