Specializing in trolling, with a focus on personal service, comfort, and results for anglers and visitors of all experience levels. We fish exclusively in Niagara, maintaining a constant pulse on Lake Ontario to stay where the fish are. We don’t chase the fleet or follow the crowd—if the bite is elsewhere, that’s where we go. We’re small enough to offer a friendly, personal experience, yet fully equipped to deliver results. Every charter is private, reserved only for your group, allowing us to provide one-on-one attention and maximize your time on the water and fighting fish. Our home port is Port Dalhousie Pier Marina in the historic old town of St. Catharines, Ontario—approximately 8 nautical miles west of the Niagara River and just 20–30 minutes from most Niagara-area accommodations. The marina is one of the premier ports on the south shore of Lake Ontario, offering access to some of the finest Salmon and Trout fishing in Canada. Located near excellent restaurants and beautiful free beaches, Port Dalhousie is the perfect place to relax, explore, and enjoy a great meal before or after your fishing adventure.

Just a few of the many moments from our 2026 season on Lake Ontario!
Thank you to everyone who joined me aboard Salmon Limited Sportfishing Niagara this year. From first-time guests to familiar faces back for their annual trip, you made it a season I’ll look back on fondly. Plenty of beautiful salmon and trout, some memorable battles, and lots of laughs along the way.
The fish make for great photos, but sharing those days with you is what I enjoy most.

I’m already looking ahead to spring and summer. My 2027 calendar is now open, and returning guests will receive an email this weekend with first pick of dates and their returning-guest offer. If you’ve fished with me before, keep an eye on your inbox—or send me a message if I don’t have your email.

Snuck out for a quick morning on Lake Ontario with Shane from FINtastic Sportfishing, and Joey came along to join the action.
Shane is a top-notch captain who knows the little details that make a big difference on the Great Lakes. He runs an excellent charter on both Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, and it’s always a pleasure sharing the boat, comparing notes and catching fish alongside him.
We put plenty of salmon in the boat, took some seriously hard hits and, naturally, watched a few good opportunities get away.
The staging salmon bite is peaking right now in Niagara, and we still have another couple of weeks before the season winds down.

What a wicked evening with Jim, Mike and Silvia!

The Kings were fired up, with several breaking the 20-pound mark and the biggest pushing 26. Hard hits, double headers and plenty of action kept us busy from start to finish.

Always great having repeat guests back on an evening like this — beautiful conditions, some serious Lake Ontario Kings and plenty of laughs along the way.

We’ve only got a couple of dates left this season, and we’re already working on our 2027 calendar. Dates will be available to book shortly.

Chasing staging Kings with fellow captain Steve from Krazy Kings Sportsfishing

Steve invited me along for a quick early morning run on Lake Ontario, and it didn’t take long for him to put us on fish. He’s a top-notch captain and knows this lake and its fishery extremely well.

I also got the rare luxury of being the guy handed the rod every time one fired. A couple of great Kings and a bonus (very rare) Pike made for a pretty awesome morning.

Thanks for the invite, Steve — always great getting out with a fellow Niagara captain and talking fishing while someone else does the driving for the change!

What better way for Joey to spend the evening after his first day back at school than chasing King Salmon on Lake Ontario?
Joey battled this hard-fighting King right into the darkness and came away with a fish to remember - taking 300ft of line on the first run. Fish have been biting well, and we’ll be running trips until the end of September.
After that, we’ll be targeting other species with Chase the Bite Sportfishing until the Lake Ontario salmon season begins again next spring.

Aron and his boys took a chance on an offshore run in search of coho salmon and rainbow trout, and the decision paid off. Double-digit numbers of hard-fighting, acrobatic fish kept everyone busy and made for an exciting evening on the water.
September brings cooler temperatures, comfortable conditions and some excellent offshore fishing.

We started in tight early this morning with Traian, Lucas and Emma, but found warm water and some uncooperative fish.

A move deeper changed everything. We found plenty of active fish out in the blue zone and put together a steady successful trip, with lots of fresh fish for the table.

An excellent evening on Lake Ontario with Ella, Steven and Chris. King salmon, coho salmon and Atlantic salmon all made it to the boat, with beautiful conditions and a bonus sunset to finish the trip.
Deeper offshore water produced plenty of action, while moving shallower as the sun went down delivered some hard-hitting bites.

An awesome morning on Lake Ontario with Joey and Ryan. This time of year is one of my favourites, with a great mix of mature King Salmon, hard-fighting Rainbow Trout and Coho Salmon all in play.

September can produce some of the most exciting fishing of the season, and mornings like this are exactly why we keep getting back out there.

Finally got the chance to chase salmon with Joey for the first time this season! The Seaswirl Striper has been so busy running charters that we haven’t had the opportunity to fish together on Lake Ontario.
Tonight, the conditions were perfect for staging salmon and the action was hot.
