Introducing ASL's EdgeAZFP!

ASL Environmental Sciences Inc.ASL Environmental Sciences is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Open Ocean Robotics through the Air-Sea Ocean Monitoring System (ASOMS) project, partially funded by Canada’s Canada's Ocean Supercluster. ASL’s Acoustic Zooplankton Fish Profiler (AZFP) has been integrated into Open Ocean Robotics’ solar-powered DataXplorer uncrewed surface vehicle to advance autonomous ocean monitoring. The AZFP is a calibrated, multifrequency scientific echosounder commonly deployed on long-term moorings. Its integration with the innovative DataXplorer platform demonstrates a safer, emission-free, and more efficient approach to detection, measurement and classification of fish, zooplankton and other marine organisms.

Our goal with this update was simple — create a more modern, accessible, and user-friendly experience for our clients and collaborators.

The new site features:
