There’s always something happening around the Itec Group of Companies, but today, we’re trading heavy equipment for heavy plates of turkey with all the fixings!

All of our locations will be closed on Monday, October 12, to give our team some well-deserved time to enjoy Thanksgiving with family and friends. We’ll be back to regular business hours on Tuesday, October 13.

We have so much to be thankful for, including our wonderful employees, loyal customers, and the communities that continue to support us.

What started as a little personal adventure to Japan turned into something even more memorable!

Ray and I recently had the opportunity to explore this beautiful country, enjoy its incredible culture, and experience some of the warmest hospitality we've ever encountered. And, of course, we couldn't travel all that way without mixing a little business with pleasure!

Along the way, we had the pleasure of visiting some of our valued business partners, Mitsubishi HC Capital, Sumitomo (the manufacturer of Link-Belt), and Morooka.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such genuine kindness and generosity. Every little detail was thoughtfully attended to, and our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

While the sights and experiences of Japan were unforgettable, it was truly the people who made this trip so special. A wonderful reminder that no matter where in the world business takes us, it's the relationships and friendships we build along the way that mean the most.

To our gracious hosts, thank you for the incredible hospitality, wonderful memories, and for making two Canadians feel so very welcome in Japan!

ITEC EQUIPMENT – GARDNER LOCATION
SHOP LABOURER | AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY

We’re looking for an extra set of hands to jump into our busy heavy equipment shop and help keep things moving.

This is a hands-on, get-dirty kind of role. You’ll be washing and cleaning heavy equipment, sweeping and keeping shop areas tidy, taking care of garbage and general cleanup, and lending a hand to our technicians and other team members wherever needed.

No fancy title. No desk. Just good, honest work and a chance to get some experience inside a busy heavy equipment dealership.

This position is temporary and flexible to start, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience, earn some extra money, or get their foot in the door. Available immediately.

Team Itec was proud to represent TMG Industrial, joining TMG teams across Canada in support of the CIBC Run for the Cure Thunder Bay.

At our booth, participants were invited to pin a rose to our heart in honour of the person they were running, walking, fundraising or remembering for. Watching that heart fill with roses throughout the day was a beautiful reminder of just how many lives are touched by breast cancer.

The event was so well attended, with plenty of community spirit, colourful costumes, familiar faces and people coming together for one very important cause. We were truly honoured to play a small part in such a meaningful day.
