The summer season may be quickly coming to an end, but Lori-Ann and Allan managed to squeeze in another beautiful day on the course for the annual FORE THE KIDS Golf Classic in support of BGC Thunder Bay.

For more than 50 years, BGC Thunder Bay has been part of our community, giving local children and youth a safe place to belong, make friends, build confidence, learn new things and, maybe most importantly, just have the chance to be kids.

Every child deserves people in their corner, a place to feel like they belong, and the chance to grow up with some really good memories along the way. We’re grateful BGC Thunder Bay helps make that possible for so many local kids.

Team Timmins was proud to hit the course for the 32nd Annual Wabun Tribal Council Audrey Allaire Memorial Golf Tournament at Spruce Needles Golf Club.

This tournament is about much more than a day of golf. Proceeds help support scholarships for Indigenous post-secondary students from the Wabun Tribal Council First Nations, while also supporting the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Audrey Allaire. It’s a wonderful combination of remembering someone special while helping create opportunities for the next generation.

Team Timmins was especially happy to share the day alongside friends and golf partners Dereck Hamelin of DRH Consultants and Brad Miller of ADD Capital Corporation. A great day on the course, made even better knowing it was supporting two very meaningful causes.

For 38 years, White River has celebrated its very special place as the home of Winnie the Pooh, a little piece of Northern Ontario forever woven into the stories of our childhoods. Stories we grew up with, shared with our own children, and that someday, they’ll share with theirs.

As Winnie-the-Pooh celebrates 100 years, Itec is especially proud to support White River, its wonderful community, and a hometown festival that continues to keep a little piece of childhood alive for all of us.

Some families truly understand that sponsorship is about so much more than financial support. It means becoming part of the cheering section too.

We love hearing about the growth, the development, the big wins and the little milestones that happen along the way. Supporting young athletes means supporting confidence, teamwork, friendships and all the things that make community sport so special.

Congratulations to #15 and all of her teammates on a great season last year. We’re proud to have been a small part of the journey and can’t wait to see what this team accomplishes next!
