GenTex Industries

GenTex Industries We specialize in manufacturing, service, and supply of heating, pumping and fluid transport equipment. GenTex Industries Inc. was created.

has evolved into a fully integrated company providing 4 key components, engineering, manufacturing, service and supply. We have expanded our scope of products and projects we take on and this diversification has generated over 30% of sales outside the Oil & Gas Industry. GenTex roots date back many decades, with experience in design, manufacture and operation of heating and pumping equipment. GenT

ex origins stem back to a service company called General Hot Oil & Chemical Cleaning Ltd. which started back in the 1960’s and also from a company GenTex purchased, called TEXSTEAM Inc. with their roots dating back before the 1950’s. General Hot Oil & Chemical Cleaning Ltd., based out of Central Alberta, was started by Wesley Cupples in 1968. Wesley owned and operated the company for 20 years before Garett Cupples, Wesley’s son, purchased his first truck from Wesley in 1988. Garett had purchased the rest of General’s fleet over a 7 year period (last truck was purchased in 1995), and then ran under the name General Hot Oil & Pressure Service. After having worked many years in the oil & gas industry and building several hot oil units for his service company, Garett saw the need for safer, economical and reliable hot oiling equipment designed with the operator in mind. With these three concepts, Garett set out to start a manufacturing company calling it General Hot Oilers Inc., which offered these three crucial elements in 1997. A few years later in 2002, General Hot Oilers Inc. acquired the TEXSTEAM Heating Division from Dresser Flow Control in Houston, Texas, inheriting the most efficient direct diesel fired technology. Garett’s service company, which was called General Hot Oil & Pressure Service was sold in 2002 and GenTex Oilfield Manufacturing Inc. Today, GenTex remains committed to providing its customers with the most efficient, ergonomic and safe hot oil, heating and pressure units in the world. GenTex currently manufactures the best of its kind in high output oilfield heaters and holds the record for manufacturing the world’s largest trailer mounted hot oil unit for the Alaskan oilfield. GenTex has come a long way since the early days, but we do not forget to celebrate our history. GenTex specializes in the design, fabrication and servicing of truck, trailer and skid mounted oilfield equipment for upstream and downstream processes and applications. GenTex has exports into 20 countries across 5 continents and with our new name we look forward to new opportunities and we are ready to take on any and all challenges!

Built for the Long Haul.

At GenTex, delivery isn’t the finish line — it’s the beginning of the relationship.

From commissioning and training to maintenance, repairs, retrofits, parts support, and system upgrades, we stand behind the equipment long after it leaves our shop floor. Because in this industry, reliability isn’t just about how equipment performs on day one — it’s about how it performs years down the road.

We believe lifecycle support should be part of the product, not an afterthought.

When you invest in GenTex equipment, you’re backed by a team committed to keeping your operation running efficiently, safely, and with confidence for the long haul.

By the time a GenTex unit hits the field, it’s already been put to the test—more than once. Every unit goes through a series of internal checks—from pressure testing and system calibration to full operational run-throughs—so nothing is left to chance.

In the field, downtime costs more than money—it costs time, trust, and momentum.

Anyone can build equipment. We focus on building confidence into every unit that leaves our yard.

It’s not extra work. It’s just how we do things at GenTex.

Paper specs don’t keep equipment running. The field does.

Cold weather. Long hours. Constant use. Real conditions expose the difference between equipment that’s engineered — and equipment that just looks good on paper.

Our latest blog breaks down what “built for the field” actually means in oilfield equipment design.

A Closer Look at Our 6m³ Fuel Truck Build

Fuel delivery equipment needs to be straightforward, dependable, and built for the realities of the field. This 6m³ fuel truck is a good example of how we approach that standard at GenTex.

Every component is selected and positioned with serviceability and operator efficiency in mind — from tank layout and hose reel configuration to pump access and overall system integration. Straight forward piping routes, accessible controls and durable construction aren’t extras. They’re expectations.

In our industry, equipment should work the way it’s supposed to, day after day, without unnecessary complexity. That’s what we focus on in every build.

In the field, decisions can’t wait for paperwork. You need accurate data — now — not two days later.

That’s why we built the GenTex CDC system.

Real-time monitoring of pressures, temperatures, flow rates, horsepower, and unit safeties.

Job data recorded and ready for clear reporting. No subscription fees. No hidden costs.

Just practical, field-ready digital controls built for oilfield equipment operating in actual conditions.

Because clarity in the field isn’t optional. It’s operational.

Good Equipment Isn’t an Accident — It’s Engineered That Way

In our industry, “quality” often gets reduced to materials. Better steel. Bigger pumps. Heavier components. But real quality doesn’t start with materials. It starts with decisions.

At GenTex, we’ve seen this firsthand with our pressure trucks. Over the years, we’ve continually refined our pressure truck designs — not because something failed, but because we listened. To owners. To operators. To the realities of the field.

-Layout changes that improve accessibility.
-System integrations that reduce operator fatigue.
-Engineering updates that increase serviceability and long-term reliability.

Each iteration brought us closer to the recommendations we now stand behind on every unit. Quality isn’t an upgrade you add at the end. It’s the outcome of disciplined design decisions made from day one.

Planning equipment upgrades or new builds in 2026?

If 2026 is the year you’re investing in new equipment, now is the time to think beyond just replacing what you already have.

At GenTex, we’re seeing owners and operators prioritize:

-Purpose-built designs tailored to actual field conditions
-Integrated systems & digital controls that reduce downtime
-Equipment that’s engineered for longevity — not shortcuts
-Clear, predictable pricing with fewer surprises along the way

Every GenTex build is operator-driven, thoroughly tested, and designed to perform long after it leaves our shop. Whether you’re upgrading existing equipment or planning a new build, the right decisions early on can save time, money, and stress down the road.
