Putting a face to the name.
This is Liam Todd — the one behind a lot of what keeps things moving at Rigid Truck and Trailer.
Closing in on a decade in the trades, with hands-on experience in heavy mechanical, oil & gas, large natural gas compressor rebuilds, high-end engine work, emissions and electrical diagnostics, and working in countless remote locations across B.C. — where things need to be fixed right the first time.
It’s the kind of work where there’s no backup plan — you either get it going, or it stays down.
Over the last 2+ years with Rigid — and managing the operation for the past year and a half — he’s been building how this shop runs, and now leading the expansion into Prince George.
Not from behind a desk — in the middle of it.
From diagnostics and repairs, to parts, scheduling, and after-hours calls — making sure customers aren’t left stuck when it matters.
If you’re running a truck, a crew, or a fleet — you already know downtime costs money. The goal here isn’t just fixing the issue, it’s keeping things moving, keeping you in the loop, and handling problems without creating more work on your end.
No fluff. No guesswork. No chasing updates.
Just getting it handled.
From the bush, to the yard, to the highway — the goal stays the same:
Less downtime. More uptime. No corners cut.
If you’ve been through the shop, you’ve likely already crossed paths.
If not — you will.
