We're gonna take a trip down memory lane way back to October of 1976. This was 50 years ago!

The timbit was just invented

The toronto blue jays just finalized their logo. The first pitch was thrown in 1977

The CN tower was only open a couple of months

Daryl Sittler finished off the Czechs in overtime to win the Canada Cup. That team included greats like Bobby Orr, Guy Lafleur and Bobby Hull. Not sure anyone could beat them today.

Amongst all that excitement a young fellow by the name of Kevin Hall started working at Stuart H. Bell and Sons.

Anyone that did any kind of work around the country knew of Stuart H. Bell. Kevin quickly became a staple in the building. Learning and sharing his knowledge along the way and doing feats that often by all forms of reality seemed impossible.

Today we are fortunate enough that kev is still with us and sharing that knowledge and being a large part of the team here at Eastonmade.

Thanks for sticking with us Kev. Would be difficult doing it without you!

What a weekend at the Paul Bunyan Show! 👏

Back home in my own wood yard, I wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU to everyone who made this weekend such a tremendous success.

We sold equipment, made new friends, and caught up with customers who have been supporting Eastonmade for years. The sales are important, but so are the handshakes, the conversations, and the relationships that continue long after the show is over.

A special thank-you to our friends and the YouTubers who show up and help make these weekends what they are. We appreciate your time, your support, and everything you do for the firewood community.

And to every customer, viewer, and follower who stopped by to say hello, share a story, or give us some honest feedback—thank you. Hearing what’s working for you and where we can improve is a big part of how we keep getting better.

Whether you bought a machine this weekend, have been running one for years, or simply enjoy watching our videos, we’re grateful to have you along for the ride.

That’s our last show until spring, but there’s plenty more to come from the shop and the wood yard!

You asked. We listened. The EVO keeps getting better.

Introducing the new seated operator station for the Eastonmade EVO firewood processor! This addition came directly from feedback shared by EVO owners and prospective buyers, and we’re excited to show you the result.

The new station gives you a comfortable place to sit while keeping the splitter chamber easy to access. It also adds a window switch that prevents the saw from starting when the window is open, along with a mechanical block that prevents operation of the splitter-valve control during chamber access.

But this is about more than adding a seat. It’s about listening to the people who use our equipment and making practical improvements that matter during a full day in the wood yard.

At Eastonmade, we continually improve our product lines with one goal: build rugged, reliable, ergonomic machines that make your work easier and help you grow your firewood business. Your feedback plays a real part in that process.
