Waycon Manufacturing Ltd. was incorporated in 1987 and is 100% Canadian owned and operated. Waycon designs, develops, engineers, manufactures and sells cutting-edge industrial equipment and machinery. Situated on 2.2 acres with a top class 33,400 square ft. facility with the latest in-house state-of-the-art equipment and engineering technology. We offer our customers a plug-and-play set-up for all of the manufacturing process steps from concept design to final product stage. Involved in various industries including forestry, food, energy, mining, construction, transportation and government. Capabilities include:

Waycon Manufacturing is led by a group of experienced engineers and trades people equipped with extensive tooling and equipment.

Due to continued expansion we’re looking to hire an experienced Welder. Suitable candidates will require CWB certification. Should take pride in work and have strong attention to detail to be able to meet our standards in quality and safety.
Job Duties:
• Interpret blueprints and schematics.
• MIG, TIG, FCAW & SMAW welding.
• Plan sequence of tasks and assemble parts per drawing.
• Ensure quality finished product, examine completed work for defects, dimensions, alignment, and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Operate overhead cranes, grinders, hand power tools, cutting torch, and other hand tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned/required.

Job Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience welding experience.
• CWB certified.
• Hold high quality and safety standards in workmanship.
• Self-motivated and ability to work effectively in team environment.

Waycon Manufacturing is led by a group of experienced engineers and trades people equipped with extensive tooling and equipment.

Our welding fabrication capabilities consist of carbon, stainless steel, and aluminum. We have our CSA standard W47.1 fusion welding of steel and W47.2 fusion welding of aluminum and have dedicated carbon and stainless steel department specializing in design, manufacturing and installation of a variety of industrial equipment and machinery.

Due to continued expansion we’re looking to hire an experienced Fabricator. Suitable candidates ideally have a min of 5 years of fabrication and welding experience. Should be physically fit, take pride in work and have strong attention to detail to be able to meet our standards in quality and safety.

Skills:
• Safety first mindset.
• Custom fabrication.
• Blueprint and schematic interpretation.
• CWB certified in TIG, GMAW and pulse welding.
• Quality assurance detailed oriented and highly precise.

Job Duties:
• Custom fabrication.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Plan sequence of tasks and assemble parts per drawing.
• Ensure quality finished product, examine completed work for defects, dimensions, alignment, and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Install and onsite work.
• Operate overhead cranes, grinders, hand power tools, cutting torch, and other hand tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned/required.

Job Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in TIG, GMAW and Pulse welding.
• Red Seal Metal Fabricator distinct advantage.
• Excellent metal finishing skills.
• Class 5 licence is required.
• Hold high quality and safety standards in workmanship.
• Self-motivated and ability to work effectively in team environment.
• Experience working on food grade stainless steel equipment and machinery an advantage
