Last week, the Renfrew County District School Board recognized Smitty's for our partnership supporting local students.
Over the years, our community has helped us raise thousands of dollars through our annual Carnival Craze fundraiser and other community events. This year, that support helped launch Ready to Learn - a dedicated fund that gives schools the flexibility to provide nutrition support to students when it's needed.
The program is already making a difference in schools across Renfrew County, and hearing that firsthand made this recognition especially meaningful.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising efforts over the years. This recognition belongs just as much to our staff, volunteers, sponsors, customers, and community as it does to us.
