📍 Project Spotlight: Broadway Subway Project

In Vancouver, BC, the Broadway Subway Project is extending rapid transit along one of the city’s busiest corridors, requiring construction solutions that support excavation work while helping maintain traffic flow at street level.

For this project, infraMOD provided:

✅ Temporary traffic decks
✅ Steel girders
✅ Walers and struts
✅ TBM supports
✅ Gallow beams
✅ Pipe and W-beam piling
✅ 11,000 tons of fabricated and raw steel

One of the key project requirements was maintaining uninterrupted vehicle traffic during excavation at busy intersections along Broadway Avenue.

infraMOD addressed this challenge by providing traffic decking with an asphalt-like surface, creating a temporary roadway above the excavation that mimicked the existing road and allowed traffic to continue moving.

Shop Spotlight: Girder Beam Fabrication 🏗️

Take a look inside our shop as girder beams move through the fabrication process!

Across these photos, you can see girder beam blanks being welded and prepared for the next stages of production, from work on the bottom fl**ge to track-mounted automatic welding equipment completing fillet welds along the girder.

Once finished, these girder beams will act as the foundation for deck panels, supporting the panels themselves as well as the traffic & equipment loads they are designed to carry on site.

It’s a process that combines skilled welding, cutting-edge equipment, and quality fabrication to deliver steel solutions that install efficiently, perform as intended, and help keep projects & people moving safely.

In the heart of Toronto’s Fashion District, the future King-Bathurst Station will create valuable connections between the Ontario Line and the popular 504 King and 511 Bathurst streetcar routes.

For this support of excavation project, infraMOD provided:

🎉 Congratulations to our latest Quality Performer of the Month, Armando Pantaleon!

Armando was nominated by our QC team for his strong understanding and skill when it comes to running our cobots.

Operating a cobot takes more than simply pushing a button. It requires awareness, precision, and the ability to make small adjustments that keep everything running smoothly. From welding gussets in tight spaces to WWF beams, Armando consistently delivers quality work with very minimal repairs needed.

He is also always willing to lend a hand, support less experienced operators, and share his knowledge across the floor.
