Even though he's fairly new to the team, Zaldyvar has delivered consistent weld quality across all of his work. He pays close attention to the drawings, follows the required details, and takes real pride in what he produces. His first CJP weld also passed testing with a clean result, and he's shown strong attention to fit-up, weld appearance, and meeting drawing requirements.

Take a look inside our shop and yard as strut and waler assemblies move through fabrication!

Across these photos, you can see pipe and beam staged for strut and waler work, welders fitting and finishing bolted fl**ge connections, and struts getting fitted with ring fl**ges and knife plates for their bolted and welded connections to the waler frame.

Once complete, these waler and strut packages get shipped out ready to form the internal bracing frames that support excavation walls on site.

Today's infrastructure projects are dealing with tighter schedules, more congested job sites, and a shrinking pool of skilled labour, all while being expected to deliver safer, faster results.

That combination is a big part of why modular construction continues to gain momentum.

Instead of completing every weld, fit-up, and adjustment in the field, modular construction moves that work into a controlled fabrication environment, where components can be engineered, fully fabricated, and even trial-assembled before they're shipped to site.

The result is less rework, fewer site constraints, and faster installation once components arrive.
