Hi Everyone!
This message is to communicate some changes happening at Slick Automotive Solutions.
Our shop at 2321 Shore St will be closing at end of May.
We will not be relocating to a new shop, but will actually be transitioning to a new business model at my home shop in Rockland.
I will continue to offer the following current services:
Polishing and OptiCoat ceramic coating projects
Tire & wheel supply and mounting/balancing
The following services will be discontinued:
Storage of wheel/tire sets
Seasonal wheel/tire changovers
Installation of wheel/tire sets on vehicles
Washes
Interior detailing
Why The Change?
With our lease ending over the last season, I took the time to evaluate the business and what to do; from looking at other locations we could move into, to the services we were currently offering and what other future services we could also provide.
Over the last few years I have noticed some trends in our market that were affecting our business.
Due perhaps to an uncertain economy, or just a divergence to a new way of buying, many were choosing to purchase their tires & wheels through online resellers instead of buying from us. Despite us pricing competitively in the market, providing great service and our stellar 5-star ratings, this spending pattern has also been noticed in our detailing department as well.
Forging Ahead
So I have taken the opportunity to enter a semi-retirement stage, and concentrate on quality over volume of sales, and work at my home garage shop for this exciting new phase!
I would sincerely like to thank all our clients that have supported us through our 12-year phase from opening a tiny new shop to where we are today.
Moving forward to the future!
I hope to see many of you again soon and remember that we are still running normal operations until end of May!
