Max Van Pelt received his license as a Journeyman Electrician in 1983 after completing a 4 year apprenticeship which included education at George Brown College. Max worked a wide variety of commercial, industrial and residential jobs during his apprenticeship that included many high rise commercial buildings as well as work on hundreds of homes and has worked on all aspects of manufacturing opera

tions. In 1984 Max joined General Motors Canada located in Oshawa and is completing his 30 years in September. During his 30 years with General Motors Max has worked on Robotics, PLC, Production Line Equipment, Generators, Automatic Guided Vehicles, Heavy Construction, Heating and Cooling System Control and many other projects. In 2009 Max returned to college and obtained his Masters License and received his Contractors License in 2013. In April 2013 Max opened his own company under the name of “Van Pelt Electric Inc.” and is looking forward to getting back out into the community to work on residential and commercial opportunities.
