Reminder :)
Do You Know?
This little water pump impeller in your outboard?
It's one of the smallest parts on your boat - and one of the biggest summer wreckers.
Most Manufacturers recommend replacing it every 2-3 years, even if everything seems fine. The impeller is made of rubber, it stiffens, cracks and can fail without much or any warning at all.
And when it fails?
Your engine overheats.
Not exactly the kind of lake - day plans anyone wants!
Book your boat motor in for water pump servicing before the season begins. Especially if you have not had it serviced in a few seasons.
Preventative maintenance is cheaper than a tow off the lake.
