What a difference a week makes.

Last weekend, our wine filtering equipment was sitting at a winery in Summerland, ready for a filtering job, as a massive wildfire tore through the area. For days, we had no idea if the winery—or our equipment—would survive. We could only watch, wait and hope.

Today, we were finally able to get back in, and we are incredibly grateful to say that the winery survived, and so did our equipment. What a huge relief after an incredibly tough, stressful and emotional week.

Our hearts are with everyone who has been affected by this devastating fire—those who were evacuated, those who have lost homes and businesses, and everyone who has spent the past week living with uncertainty and fear.

Today, we are simply feeling grateful. Grateful for the firefighters and first responders who worked tirelessly to protect the community. Grateful for the people who supported one another through an incredibly difficult time. And grateful for the good news we received today.

After a week of holding our breath, it feels pretty wonderful to finally exhale. ❤️🙏
