Cool project all wrapped up this week. Extended bowl on an s s carb for a drag bike. Made a piece that screwed into the drain plug hole to guide the hole saw. Worked great! Then made an extension out of brass for the main jet and welded it all up. I also machined some longer foot pegs for the same bike. Last picture is my oldest being wierd. Wonder where he gets that from...?

Tonight's project is to make these squares round. I don't have any round stock big enough so this 3" x 1" flat bar will have to do.

The 3d printer is such a great tool for stuff like this. Turns out the hole centers on the exhaust flanges for the bolt are different. There's a good chance I would have measured one and sent it off for laser cutting. Wasting time and money. Also it's a good excuse to play with fusion 360.
