Sur cette photo, prise en plein chantier, on voit ACO StormBrixx en cours d'installation. Ce système modulaire capte l'eau de pluie directement sur le site, puis la retient ou la laisse s'infiltrer dans le sol, le tout bien caché sous l'aménagement paysager.

Ses modules offrent 95 % de volume utile et sont assez robustes pour supporter la circulation. Ils s'empilent et s'emboîtent en quinconce, ce qui accélère la pose. Résultat : un maximum de rétention dans un minimum d'espace.

Protecting the fleet that keeps Mississauga moving.

On Sept. 24 the VRCA Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) hosted its inaugural BUILDFest, a twist on the conventional trade show at the Pacific National Exhibition ground in Vancouver.

Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a time to pause in somber reflection and honour residential school Survivors, their families, and the children who never came home.

This year’s commemorative graphic features a feather, narwhal, and flower, each representing First Nations, Inuit and Métis traditions.

The flowing circular lines reflect how water connects us all, uniting communities and generations along the winding path of reconciliation. It’s a reminder that we all have a role to play in building a better future, that starts by listening, learning and acknowledging our history.

This month, we’re revisiting some of our favourite projects from across the country, like this Ontario-based project that shows infrastructure and local ecosystems don't have to exist in separate worlds.

Just ask this turtle – the first to make his way through ACO’s Wildlife Slotted Climate Tunnels at the Long Point Causeway in Port Rowan back in 2008.

By creating safe, connected routes under busy roads, thoughtful eco-passages protect wildlife and drastically reduce turtle and snake mortality rates without slowing down human progress.

A heated driveway. Limited depth. On-site runoff management. This Montreal residential project brought together several drainage challenges and required a coordinated solution.

With heating pipes limiting the available installation depth, ACO SlabDrain and 480D Ductile Iron Wave Grates were selected to provide surface drainage within the available space.

The City also required the homeowner to manage runoff on-site, so ACO Stormbrixx was installed to help store stormwater.
