How I Saved 56% on Tesla Charging Cost!
Supercharger is fast but expensive. Third-party charging stations are cheap but incompatible. Solution? CCS1 to NACS adapter!

Why I love my CCS1 to NACS adapter for Tesla

Tesla’s Supercharger is fast and easy, but also pricey. In the GTA, it costs as much as gas to charge 35 kWh (200 km). That’s why I use third-party charging stations instead. They are cheaper, more abundant, and just as powerful as Supercharger. But how do I charge my Tesla there? With a CCS1 to NACS adapter!

This adapter lets me plug my Tesla into any CCS1 port, which are common in Canada. It doesn’t affect the charging speed or efficiency, and it only costs 100CAD. I saved that money in a few charges, because third-party stations charge 15 to 30 cents per kWh, compared to 56 to 70 cents for Supercharger. That’s a huge difference!

I have been using this adapter for a while and I love it. It makes charging more convenient and affordable, and I don’t have to wait in line for Supercharger. Here are some photos and data of me using it. You can see how fast and cheap it is.

Hey, Tesla owners! I just wanted to share a quick tip with you. If you recently updated your iPhone and noticed that your car screen doesn’t recognize your phone key anymore, don’t panic! It’s a common issue that can be easily fixed. All you have to do is remove your phone key from the settings and pair it again. That’s it! You can then use your phone key as usual, or use the Tesla app to lock/unlock and remote start your car. I hope this helps! 😊

Tesla has launched a updated Model Y in China with an LED light strip, new RIM cover, and faster acceleration.

While all eyes are still on the rollout of the new Model 3, Tesla has quietly released an updated version of the Model Y out of Gigafactory Shanghai.

The update is introducing to Model Y the LED strip around the dash that first appeared in the recently refreshed Model 3.

The ambient light strip doesn’t look the same as in the new Model 3, but it is very similar and can also be controlled with different colors through the center display.

Tesla also slightly updated the Gemini wheel, which are the standard wheels for the Model Y, with a darker color:

Finally, Tesla also made the vehicle a tiny bit faster with the base Model Y now with a 5.9-second 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration:

Right now, only the Model 3 and Model Y vehicles coming out of Gigafactory Shanghai have been updated.

The vehicles are expected to only be available in markets that get Chinese-made Tesla vehicles, like Asia, Europe, and Canada.

Considering so many people still question whether EV are an inevitable trend for the future.

The majority of people's natural reactions to new technology:

1/ Any technology that existed when I was born is part of the normal order of the world.
2/ Any technology that was born between the ages of 15-35 will revolutionize the world.
3/ Any technology that was invented after I turned 35 is unnatural and condemnable. 😅

Tesla Model 3 Highland officially unveiled with new design and more features!

There is a significant slate of interior changes as well:

A new rear 8-inch touchscreen, giving rear seat passengers control over climate change and entertainment
Deleted stalks on the steering column, much as in the Model S and X, with the gear selector now on the touchscreen and turn signal buttons on the left side of the steering wheel
Ventilated front seats, which can be controlled from outside the vehicle through Tesla’s phone app, heating or cooling them up before you get in the car
Cushier rear seats (now perforated, but not ventilated like the front seats)
The sound system has been upped to 17 speakers (from 14)
Improved bluetooth microphone performance
Improved wi-fi and bluetooth for better connectivity to routers and phone keys
A quieter interior than on the original Model 3, due to several changes to aerodynamics and materials
Customizable interior ambient lighting
Larger rear trunk, up to 594 liters from 561

The Tesla Supercharger station is full, and there are three more cars waiting in line nearby. I’m glad to see so many people choosing Tesla, but the charging experience is not as good as before. Please build more charging stations soon!😝

The V3 SuperCharger is amazing, it can charge at 1500 km/hour! Imagine all the places you can go with that kind of speed and convenience. Tesla is really changing the game with this technology. 😍
