The finished facade is the easy photo. The interesting part is everything that disappears behind it.
Once the cladding is installed, nobody sees the framing, window detailing, trims, transitions, or all the small adjustments made along the way.
But those are the details that determine how the finished building actually looks.
This Longboard aluminum siding project in West Vancouver is a good example — from open walls to the finished facade.

Bellevue is taking shape. Scaffolding is coming down, ACM panels are in progress, and the architecture is starting to reveal itself. That vertical siding though — I could look at those lines and texture for hours.

Some projects stay with you long after they're finished.
Ambleside Palace is one of them.
About 10 years ago, Atlant had the opportunity to contribute to this exceptional residence, built by Eurohouse Construction.
Looking back today, it's every bit as impressive as the day it was completed. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and timeless design are a testament to the quality and vision behind the project.
Some buildings are constructed.
Others are crafted.
More than a decade later, this home is still a reminder that quality stands the test of time.
