In response to increasing numbers of COVID-19 cases, Ontario is in a province-wide lockdown. The provincial government has announced that all regions of the province will be placed in the grey-lockdown stage of Ontario’s COVID-19 response framework as of December 26, 2020. The lockdown will remain in place for Southern Ontario until January 23, 2021, but will lift for Northern Ontario on January 9, 2021.

In response, we understand our requirement to develop a COVID-19 safety plan and make it available in writing for review. Employers like ours need a plan to put controls in place to make the workplace safe. For example, a workplace safety plan will include items such as workplace screening, the provision of personal protective equipment (PPE), physical barriers for distancing, process for disinfecting surfaces ect.

In lockdown (grey), all businesses and organizations that are permitted to be open must have a COVID-19 workplace safety plan. Organizations must create, discuss, and share their plan with employees, and review and update their plan regularly.

In addition to announcing these new restrictions, the government has advised that under the lockdown, schools in Southern Ontario will switch to remote learning when classes resume in the new year. Elementary schools will be closed for in-class learning until at least January 11, 2021, while secondary schools will remain closed until January 25, 2021. All public and private schools both elementary and secondary in Northern Ontario would be permitted to resume in-person learning on January 11, 2021. Childcare centres will remain open for the duration of the province-wide lockdown.

All this being said we will still be operating to support your needs. Luckily we have been planning for this throughout the month of December. We have the stock needed to support your needs. We ask that you email your inquiries during this time.

Good morning everyone,

I thought I would take a minute to share what I am doing to do our part to reduce risks as it relates to COVID-19. I see that we have Daily visitors to our page so I thought I would share an update for those of you following us.

COVID-19 update
We continue to navigate through these difficult times. We have managed to reduce our work force reducing risks to higher risked staff but maintaining operations in the most efficient way possible.

Some things we are doing to make sure our staff and those we come in contact with are safe is;

•Professional Cleaning Monthly
•Masks and face shields available at front door
•Visitor log to be able to effectively contact any one that was potentially exposed if we were to have someone infected.
•Notice posted informing visitors and customers of our COVID-19 policy and procedures.
•Daily survey taken of all staff to make sure they have no symptoms or exposure to risks that could potentially infect others.
•Masks worn when working with others.
•Staggered shifts to reduce exposure
•Working from home if possible for the staff that is able to effectively work from home. •Daily management of the tasks set out to keep team effort equally distributed and reduce burn out.
•Discussions of how to improve, reduce and prevent exposure.
•Notifications to customers and stakeholders about what we are doing to protect anyone within our bubble.
•Advocating to industry partners and leaders about our story.
•Personally answering the phone to make sure everyone is being taken care and each problem is being handled with the most care possible during these trying times.
•Going in daily to manage and delegate workforce but also working from home to reduce exposure. Thankfully I am only 5 minutes away making it easier to do so.

Losing my father to COVID-19 helped to give me the insight needed to protect everyone within our bubble. The processes I have put in place are the the least I can do to protect our team. I cannot say enough good things about how everyone has came together. I feel that it has definitely brought us closer and helped us to appreciate eachothers contribution.

Thank you to all of our supporters 🙏

It was cold yesterday but it's always a pleasent suprise when our product is unsolicited but advertising at the Peterbilt Body Builder Training.

Thank you for the invite. It was informative and nice to get together with a group of like minded people.
