♻️ Ever wonder what happens to all those Used Beverage Containers (UBCs) after they’re collected? At Dundee Recycling, aluminum cans are sorted, processed, and compressed into dense bales.

Fun fact: One bale can contain approximately 17,000
aluminum cans and weigh over 550 lbs.! That’s a whole lot of cans packed into one bale.

Baling UBCs makes the material easier to handle, transport, and send on to its next stage of recycling. Aluminum can be given a second life instead of ending up in the landfill. ♻️

Every can makes a difference, and together they add up to something BIG!

Small Can. Big Impact. 🌎

Happy !✨

Did you know? Copper is one of the few metals on Earth that occurs naturally in a directly usable metallic form.

Bonus Fact: Copper turns green when exposed to the elements to build a protective shield called a patina.

Because copper is 100% recyclable without ever losing its strength or electrical conductivity, nearly 80% of all copper ever mined is still in use today! ⚡🔄

Got unused copper pipe, wire, or scrap collecting dust in your shop or garage? Don’t let it sit around- bring it down to Dundee Recycling to get top dollar for your scrap and keep the cycle going! 💵♻️

Have a great weekend! 🥳
