A New Generation of Riders Takes Off!

The Mike Davidson Bike Pump Track officially opened on August 31, bringing a new space for BMX riders and the community to Nanaimo’s mid-Island.

Built by the Stevie Smith Legacy Foundation, the track sits on the site where Nanaimo BMX was founded, along Walsh Road near Cedar Secondary School.

Herold Engineering staff were proud to support the project behind the scenes, in memory of our good friend Mike Davidson.

We are beyond excited to be working on this project with Rising Tide Boat Works! What an incredible opportunity for us and for the West Coast!

Big progress at the Ucluelet boatyard! We’ve cleared site debris, started work preserving the historic WWII RCAF hangar, and we are in the midst of designing a new electrified dock and pier. Plus, we are thrilled to begin sharing more about a few exciting electric vessel projects we are working on.
