🎉 CELEBRATING 20 YEARS WITH VMAC. Today, we’re proud to celebrate Peter D.’s 20th work anniversary with VMAC! Over the past two decades, Peter has made an incredible contribution to VMAC’s success. As Lead Design Engineer for our OEM and HVEV business, his technical expertise and experience have helped advance some of VMAC’s most specialized and innovative engineering work.

Peter’s work supports our OEM business, developing custom rotary screw air compressor systems for industrial engine applications, as well as our HVEV business, engineering electric air brake compressor systems for electric, hybrid and fuel-cell commercial vehicles, including school buses, transit buses and heavy-duty trucks.

Beyond his engineering accomplishments, Peter is simply an amazing coworker. His knowledge, dedication, and willingness to support those around him have made him a valued member of the VMAC team for 20 years.

When the BC Forest Discovery Centre needed to replace ties along its railway loop, the VMAC G90 with FlexDrive AirFlow Management System (AMS) went to work.

Before the G90, crews relied on receiver tanks that had to be repeatedly refilled and transported around the site. With the G90 providing continuous compressed air right where crews needed it, the difference was dramatic.

A Discovery Centre volunteer, Simon, pointed to the change in overall efficiency: “…spiking with your compressor was a treat! I used both over the last few days and after around 150 spikes between the two all I can say is WOW. The diesel tow-behind I borrowed is a great machine for what it is, but the VMACs performance (with the G90) is almost unbelievable! Your compressor combined with my spiker and a repurposed jackhammer the museum has, for ballast tamping would really modernize the big jobs!”

That’s a workhorse doing what it does best: keeping pneumatic tools running and the job moving.
