The pace of progress in blood cancer research continues to bring hope to patients and families every day.

Ruth Wright, a Halifax Light The Night Remembered Honoured Hero, was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia in 2006 at the age of 74. Ruth faced her diagnosis with grace and continued to live life to the fullest for nearly 11 years.

"I had been feeling so helpless with my mom's diagnosis and Light The Night was a way for me to feel as though I was doing something to make things better. It also provided a community for my mom and me, where we would receive support and, for me, a sense of purpose."

🚒 Creativity for a great cause! 💚

This impressive handcrafted fire truck was built by the Saint John Firefighters during our 3rd Annual Pallet Building Competition in support of St. Joseph’s Hospital. This project is a great example of what can happen when creativity and community spirit come together.

We're proud to support initiatives that bring people together while making a positive impact in our communities.

This incredible build is now on display at our KENT Saint John East, NB store, where customers can stop by to see it up close. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event such a success!

Rod Delaney, from Cupids, NL, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2012.

A look back at last month's KENT PRO Golf Event in Moncton, NB!

Did you know that Leukemia & Lymphoma are the 1st and 3rd most common childhood cancers?

William Smith, from Miramichi NB, was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2023 at 6 years old.

"Having support and knowing you don’t have to carry heavy burdens alone is an immense gift, especially when facing childhood cancer. Cancer is truly a family disease, childhood cancer in particular. We truly learned the meaning of the phrase “it takes a village” because our village carried us through the most difficult experience of our lives."

At KENT, learning never stops. 🎨

Recently, associates from across our network gathered at the KENT Moncton Distribution Centre, NB for Paint School, an immersive training event focused on paint product knowledge, sales, customer service, and hands-on learning. Through interactive workshops, practical projects, and collaborative activities, participants gained valuable skills and experience to help them better support customers in our stores.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and helped make Paint School a success!
