Steam test of the 3.75" Scale Pyle National E2. The dynamo performed flawlessly at 55-65PSI. Minimal whine but enough to create the effect of the prototype.

Last clip shows the dynamo charging a 12V motorcycle battery using a wind turbine controller.

Pyle National Type CL Classification Lights in 1.5" Scale.

This 1.5" scale model is built using individual castings just like the original, including a fully functional hinged door. It features a true Fresnel lens and is powered by a 12V warm white LED, delivering a soft, prototypical glow.

Offered as a pair, these are the most common style used on NA locomotives.

Minimum of 15 pairs required to proceed with this casting run due to the small, intricate nature of the components. To be part of this order, please send me a DM.

Here is a completed 2.5" scale MO-6 turbo generator built for a client. The MO-6 represented the pinnacle of turbo generator technology for Pyle National, and its design reflects a remarkable level of engineering complexity. This model is an exact external replica of the full-size unit, reproducing all individual body components, including the ornate rear bearing housing, which remains hidden beneath the generator housing lid.

The 3.75" scale Pyle National E2 is complete. Turned out to be quite the jewelry piece. Preliminary tests on air show 40V at 1.5A. Steam test is scheduled in coming month.
This one also features the turbine casing drain as per the prototype to reduce condensation up the stack. I will also be testing some D&RGW style balloon top mufflers.

Working on the 3.75" Pyle National E2. This one will incorporate a 48V generator. Further stats to come post testing.

Adlake Train Number Indicators in 1.5”

Train number indicators were metal housings mounted on the front of locomotives with horizontal slots for interchangeable sheet-metal numerals. A storage box attached to or built into the housing held digits, dashes, blanks, and “X” plates. Crews set the display before departure to show either the assigned train number or the engine number.

Operating rules formalized their use. Rule 21 stated: “Trains will be identified by train indicators displayed on the engine when so equipped; if not so equipped, engine number must be used in train orders when known.”

Commonly used on the UP, SP, AT&SF and SP&S.

Many thanks to those who have supported this project with vital information on construction and use.

The models are made from 316 SS and feature working hinges and removable numbers as per the original. They feature lit numbers utilizing warm white LEDs for a prototypical appearance.

- 6V-12V Output at 0.5A.
- 55-60PSI Working Pressure.
- Casting is made of 316L SS.
- Utilizes a direct drive generator.
- Stainless steel shaft & Bearings.
- Teflon bushing on steam end.
- Operational hinges & prototypical casting numbers.

**Sample model shown, graininess on the finish will be eliminated for production units.**

Introducing this headlight arrangement as a special commemorative addition marking the 250th anniversary of the United States. The overall design is inspired by the headlight styling applied to the Freedom Train of 1975.

The arrangement incorporates an eagle assembly, which is available across all Pyle National headlight styles offered.
The headlight stand may be specified with candlesticks.

The number board will be configured with the stars having the numbers centered between them. This feature is not represented in the current sample model imagery but will be included in the final configuration.

Conduit can be run on either side, according to the tender design.
This design features a traditional clear lens which generally shines more light compared to the fresnel lens style which was slightly less efficient due to light scattering at its ring edges.

The model is of stainless steel construction and includes operating hinges on its reflector lid. It is equipped with a 12-volt LED
