This week, our parachutes team completed a prototype of our new reefing parachute! We have been hard at work designing this parachute for the past 2 years and are very excited to see it come to life! Keep an eye out for future testing & manufacturing media!

This past Saturday, our Propulsion subteam had another hotfire test of our Maelström hybrid engine. For the first time, both nitrogen pressurization of the oxidizer tank as well as an in-house composite fuel spacer were successfully tested and validated. This officially marks the end of Maelström's 3-year long testing campaign, as after its flight at Launch Canada 2024, the team will start testing of our next-generation hybrid engine, Huracán, designed for a 60,000 ft-apogee rocket!
